Physical therapy helps relieve pregnancy aches and pains

Here’s what causes the pain

Your body changes during pregnancy to accommodate the needs of your growing baby. When these changes take place, you may notice different aches, pains, or tightness. Increased weight, decreased postural control, a change in center of gravity, and other stress can cause your muscles to work harder. Hormonal fluctuations can stress your ligaments and joints, too.

Physical therapy can help

Our prenatal care experts will work with you to reduce these symptoms and allow your pregnancy to progress as comfortably as possible.

What to expect

At your first visit, a thorough evaluation will be performed to find out the best plan of care for you. We’ll determine the best treatment options based on your individual symptoms and goals.
