Amy Ready, MPT

Amy earned her master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Louisville where she also received a bachelor’s degree in Health Science. In practice since 2001, Amy has found her passion in treating pelvic health dysfunction and is dedicated to furthering the health, wellness, and education regarding these diagnoses. “For me, it’s about providing the best care possible for my patients. It must begin with patient education and ensuring the patient feels comfortable, safe and informed with discussing pelvic health issues. Many patients are unaware that these issues can be addressed and treated successfully with physical therapy interventions.” Amy’s advanced training remains focused in the area of pelvic health and she feels strongly about being an advocate for these patients.

In addition, Amy specializes in treatment of the spine including Greenman, Institute of Physical Art, Maitland, and various soft tissue and manual therapy techniques. She has completed competency courses with proficiency in the Vestibular and Balance Training program from the American Institute of Balance and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association, and the International Pelvic Pain Society.

Amy is happily married and the mother of two. She enjoys family vacations and spending time with their English Mastiff. She is involved with her children in sports and travels with her daughter’s volleyball team. Personally, she enjoys Pilates, Yoga, running, and gardening.
