What the Couple Wanted

Noelle and Mark wanted a soft, romantic wedding at the Jeptha Creed Distillery, including a creative, outdoor-plated meal.

Wedding Prep Process

The clients came in for a consultation, then we got to work on their custom menu. Next we met for a tasting and the first décor consult. The clients signed off on the tasting and then we got to work on their event décor. The next step was the clients’ dessert tasting and first décor look-book viewing. We met for an additional décor consultation and went over each item, including centerpiece and bouquet samples. The clients signed off on their décor and at the six-week mark, we met again with the clients and their wedding planner for a walk-through at the ceremony site. At the bride’s request, we then worked exclusively with the wedding planner for the remaining event build. Two weeks before the ceremony we met with Noelle and Mark one last time to confirm the final guest count and discuss payment.

Wedding Prep Highlight

We set up a s’mores bar outside so that after dinner, guests could mingle by the fire and enjoy a s’more and apple cider.

What Made the Wedding Special

Six months before the wedding, Noelle’s father passed away unexpectedly. We took extra care in making sure that her father was remembered throughout the evening. His favorite yellow rose was in Noelle and her sister’s bouquets, and in their mother’s corsage. We pulled a few extra lanterns, candles and yellow roses to make a small remembrance piece in front of the sweetheart table. The bride could feel her father's presence during the entire evening. It meant so much to Noelle and her family.

Results

Perfect, delicious, well-executed and beautiful meal. Guests entering the tent walked into the romantic setting that Noelle and Mark wanted.
